# 🇮🇩 Shopify Integration

Integration Guide for Shopify users in Indonesia

## Integration Guide <a href="#integration-steps" id="integration-steps"></a>

This integration guide consists of 2 **mandatory** steps:

1. Install DOKU Payment App on Shopify App Store.
2. Settings for DOKU Plugins in Shopify.[​](https://dashboard.doku.com/docs/docs/integrations/platform/shopify-integration#install-doku-payment-for-shopify)

#### Step 1: Install DOKU Payment App on Shopify App Store

1. There are 2 ways to start the Integration
   1. **Option 1: Through the DOKU Dashboard**
      1. Log in to [DOKU Dashboard](https://dashboard.doku.com/bo/login).
      2. Navigate to **Integration → Shopify,** then click **Install**
      3. You will be redirected to the Shopify App Store. and click **Install** again to proceed.
   2. **Option 2: Through Shopify Admin**
      1. Log in to your Shopify admin.
      2. Navigate to **Settings → Payments**. Then click Add button.
      3. Search for **DOKU Payment** in search by provider options and click it
2. Both options will direct you to the DOKU Shopify Payment App installation page.

3. After clicking **Install** from previous step, system will check if you have logged in to DOKU Dashboard
   1. **If you are logged in** to the DOKU Dashboard in another tab on the same device, the system will prompt you to grant permission for DOKU to connect to your Shopify store.
   2. **If you are not logged in** The system will open a new browser tab and redirect you to the DOKU Dashboard login page. After logging in, you will be redirected to the permission page to authorize DOKU to connect to your Shopify store.
4. Click **Allow** to authorize DOKU to connect to your Shopify store

5. Once the connection is successful, a confirmation page will appear.

If you manage more then 1 brand, then before step 4 you be promt to choose which brand you want to connect.

#### Step 2: DOKU Plugins Setting in Shopify

After connecting your store, activate the DOKU Payment App in Shopify.

1. In DOKU Plugins Setings, Enable the toggles for the payment icons you want to display on your Shopify checkout page.
2. Scroll down and click **Activate**.

**Important:** The payment icons displayed on the Shopify checkout page are for display purposes only. They do not indicate which payment methods are available for a transaction. Actual payment method availability depends on your DOKU configuration and the payment methods supported for your store.

Your DOKU Payment App is now activated in Shopify and ready to receive payment.

## Testing Payments <a href="#testing-the-payment-in-sandbox-mode" id="testing-the-payment-in-sandbox-mode"></a>

To test payments using the DOKU Sandbox environment, complete the following two steps:

1. Connect your Shopify store to your DOKU Sandbox account.
2. Setup payment notification URL in your DOKU Sandbox Dashboard.

#### Step 1 : Connect DOKU sandbox to your Shopify Store <a href="#testing-the-payment-in-sandbox-mode" id="testing-the-payment-in-sandbox-mode"></a>

1. First, open the **Manage Shopify** page. There are two ways to access this page.

   1. **Option 1: Through the DOKU Dashboard**
      1. Log in to your DOKU Dashboard, navigate to **Integration → Shopify**.
      2. If your Shopify store is already connected, click **Manage**.
   2. **Option 2: Through Shopify Admin**
      1. Open your Shopify admin, navigate to the DOKU Payment App.
      2. Click **More actions → Manage**.

2. On the **Manage Shopify** page, click **Login to Sandbox**.
   1. Click **Allow** to authorize the connection.
3. Once the connection is successful, your connected Sandbox account will be displayed on the **Manage Shopify** page.
4. Go to Payment Settings in Shopify scroll down and activate Test Mode and click save&#x20;

#### **Step 2 : Setup Payment Notification on DOKU dashboard** <a href="#testing-the-payment-in-sandbox-mode" id="testing-the-payment-in-sandbox-mode"></a>

If you skip this step, your payment status on Shopify Dashboard will not be synced with DOKU sandbox

1. Copy the below **Notification URL** dedicated for DOKU Payments on Shopify

```

2. Log in to your **DOKU Dashboard**
   * For testing transactions, visit [DOKU Sandbox](https://sandbox.doku.com/bo/login?utm_source=docs)
3. Navigate to **Settings** > **Payments Settings**, then go to each payment method settings page

4. Set up the payment notification URL for **each payment method** that you have activated using the notification URL that you have copied earlier. Once payment notification has been configured, you can try to checkout items from your store and it will open DOKU sandbox simulator. Visit [Webhook / Payment Notification](/get-started/manage-business/set-up-integration/webhook-payment-notification.md#simulate-transactions) to learn how to use the payment simulator. Upon completion of the payment, you will be redirected back to your store. The transaction will be marked as completed, and the order will be confirmed.
